Windows update finally gave me SP1 for Vista. It fixed the problem of Windows not seeing my DVD burner. I have not been able to use Windows DVD Maker until now. Other programs like Picasa would work but nothing within Vista. That is about 12 months. When I first bought Windows XP I had to wait 6 months before the sound worked on my video capture board. That is the price early adapters have to pay.
